Chronicle about what I think music will be like in ten years.

Now I´m going to tell you about what I think will be changed or what I think will happen with music in ten years.

Music is a very big topic, there is music everywhere in the world and there is music in many different laguages but one thing that´s wierd is that even if we have all this music on different languages we are almost only listening to the music that´s popular in our country, in other words, we are here in sweden just listening to swedish music and then english music from the biggest artists, we are not listening to music that they have recorded/music that is from, for example India.

What I´m trying to tell you is that the music is very divided, every country has their own laguage and music, they are not listening to each others music that much, of course there is people that are listening to other countries music but it isn´t so common.

I have a example, I´m from Bosnia, I´m listening to bosnian music very much, almost everyday, but, I´m also listening to Swedish music, English and sometimes I even like to listening to other music from balkan and even music from arabic countries.

I´m a very mixed person when it comes to music, I´m listening to all different music, from bosnian music to any other laguage. And I think this will change in the future, in ten years I think there will be many more persons out there in our world that will be, I don´t want to sound wieard now, but more like me, I mean, I think there will be more people out there listening to music from all countries in the world.

It´s of course not easy to say now that everybody is going to listen to every kind of music. I understand that people maybe not are listening to all kind of music because they maybe don´t understand the laguage, but then it might lead people to want to learn different laguages and that sounds good for me.

In ten years I don´t think our ”toplists” would look like they do today. Today for example, the swedish playlists consists of only Swedish and English/American music and then sometimes there is maybe one or two songs from french, german or danish.

The artists in some contries doesn´t have a chance to even compare themselves with the big artists in America. I do have a feeling that it is so much easier for the americans to become a ”star”.

I will compare America now with Bosnia, in America there is of course people that is much richer than others and there is competitions that have made ”nobodies” to stars. There is competitions in bosnia too, but there is a big difference, sure you can become a star in bosnia too but you will never be a BIG star. You do your concerts and things like that, but you will never be more famous than a star in your country.

It´s not like Justin Bieber, he did win a competition and now he is one of the most popular teenage boys in the world. One month ago there was a song competition in Bosnia, something like Idol and the winner was Mirza Soljanin, he isn´t that famous, he is just a winner of the competition and now he will be an artist in Bosnia but no one in the world will probably ever know anything about him.

This year there will be a big artist from Bosnia that will represent the country at ESC 2011. He has for a long time been known in Bosnia as our ”king of music” but he isn´t popular at all in the rest of the world. Maybe balkan, but that´s it, he will probably not be famous in the rest of the world ever. I don´t like to say never but it´s true!

Now my point, there are many talents all around the world which has not been ”discovered” yet. Some of them will probably never be it eighter and I think that is very sad to know.

I think in 10 years there should be more people listening to all kind of music, rock, hip hop etc. on different laguages! It will make the ”music world” bigger and some smaller countries would have the chance to show their ”music skills” for the rest of the world.

Maybe Beyonce will do a duet with Tarkan (Turkish artist)? Yes, it sounds a little bit funny, but hey, why not? Are we developing or what? I think it sounds great, the world could get together and become one in music, maybe it´s a big step in world peace? I don´t know, I like almost every kind of music and I think later it will even itself out.

But we all have our different thoughts, right? And this was mine.

Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce Giselle Knowles is her real name but she is more known as just ”Beyonce”.
She is an American women born in Houston, Texas 1981 that isn´t just a singer. Even if we do see her most in the ”music world” or more like the ”singing world” this isn´t the only thing that she is doing. Except the her singing career she is a fashion designer and actress.

There is even some sources that is saying that she started to sing just by reason to ”earn” some money, it says that she wanted to start her own business, and because she was good at singing, dancing and that kind of musical things she started to sing and dance hoping to earn some money for her business idea.

So... apperently, the business thing was the ”head thing” and the singing was just a way to reach her real dream.

When she was a little kid she used to play in many school shows and do different performances at school. She did also join many competitions in singing and dancing and, of course, she won some of them.

She started her career on 1990 with the girl group named ”destiny´s child” together with Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland who also is good and famous singers today.

When she was in the group they got a grammy but during this ”grammy time”, Beyonce, had a very hard time. Beyonce became depressed and felt very down during one period, she couldn´t eat, sleep or think at the normal way.

But, when she had this depressive period she didn´t tell anybody anything about it, she just kept it for herself because she didn´t want the other girls in the group to get affected by her situation because they had just received a grammy.

Beyonce´s father, Matthew Knowles, was the manager for the ”Destiny´s Child” and then later when Beyonce did start to sing alone he helped her much in her career of course. Father and daughter together.

One more reason that maybe did affect her ”depressive time” is that Beyonce then just lost the touch and contact with her, now ex-boyfriend who she had been with for appox 7 years. That may be a reason for the depressive time that she did have.

But now she is happy, she is now together with the famous hip hop star called Jay-Z. They´ve been together since 2008 and they live on two places, Miami and London.

In her career she had got many awards, much praise and things like that, here is some things:

- She had five singles on the Billboard hot 100s and all of them took first places on the lists.
- She was nominated two golden globs for her acting in the musical movie called ”Carmen: A Hip Hopera”.
- She is one of the biggest, famous singers, younger than 30 years who earn the most money in the ”singers world”. (She earned about 87 million dollars between 2008 and 2009).

Before I end this little text about Beyonce Knowles I have to say some things for my own, I want to comment all this that i´ve wrote here. It´s really hard to pick out just SOME information and some things about her. She really is a very BIG star and artist and she is doing so much more than just singing.

For me she is a big star and seems to be like a very ”down to earth” person that loves everything she is doing and she seems to have a very good life. In my eyes she isn´t the ”diva star” who overacts, she is herself and I think that every famous person should be like that, down to earth, but today every famous person is overacting and they got ”to much air”, nothing to do about it but it is bad, really bad.

Downloading music

I´ve read a text about ”downloading music” and the text is wrote by a guy named David Furritus. He is writing about downloading music, what effects it gives and things like that. One of the things that he is telling us in the text is that the recording artists doesn´t get hurt really, is more the websites and the record store that is getting hurted, (lose money on it).

Personally im FOR downloading music. One thing is of course that it is for free, you don´t have to pay for the music you download, you don´t have to go and buy one song just because you want to listen to it.

Some people doesn´t even have money for buying CDs especially not students in our age if they don´t have a job. And like David is telling us, the artists doesn´t get really hurted or losing any money because we are downloading their music. I think it´s more important that the artists that have made the songs get the money too.

The recording stores and websites is not as important as the artists because if there wasn´t for the artists the recording stores would not exist, right? The artists is just getting more and more popular by the time and that´s most because of that we are downloading.

There is many artists in the world that we still today have not heard of. Many people who are totally strangers for the society becomes one of the biggest artists later and that´s is much because of our peoples downloading.

It´s more efficient and more comfortable to choose which songs you want to listen to and which songs you want to download. When you buy a CD you buy all the songs in it, that means, even if you doesn´t like each song on the CD you still have to pay for it while downloading is giving you the opportunities to download the songs you like and the best part of course is that it is for free.

I´ll go back to the thing I said before, many artists are getting bigger because of our download, and it´s true! They´ve got many more people on their concerts and more people who had become their fans. This means that the artists is getting much more money than before of course and many supporters and other persons with business around them are getting richer.

When I say supporters and ”other persons with business” I mean that there are many people around the artists that makes dolls that look like the them. They even do posters and other things that has to do with the famous artist and of course, people is buying this things and that means that even businessmen are making money on them.

I will now tell you in my own words what I think would happen with the artists if we stop downloading.

Even if there is a law that says that this kind of thing is illegal I think that many artists careers would end if we stop downloading. It is a new time now, it´s 2011 not 1970 for example, some people can not listen to the same music every day and then we have to download new all the time.

Artists would not be seen like before if it stops now, their concerts wouldn´t be as full as they are today and that would lead many artists to stop producing new albums and songs.

There will always be music with us, but I really do think the downloading is very positive, for us because it´s free and easy, and for the recording artists who gets things that is probably the most important for the them, fans and money.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, he grew up in Chicago in a working class family. His fathers name is Joseph Jackson and his mothers name is Katherine Esther Scruse, -Michael had eight siblings, he was supposed to have nine but one died at birth. Michael Jackson was a Jehovah witness growing up.

Michael´s childhood & Jackson 5

At a very young age his father abused him and his brothers he had a very hard childhood. He often cried as because he felt lonely and he felt sick of seeing his father. He felt very much hate for his father, Michaels father used to sit in a chair with a belt while Michael practiced with his brothers and if they did not sing or danced good enough he would hit them.

Michael first showed his musical talent at five years he started to do christmas shows. His brothers had a group first that was called Jackson Brothers that Michael and his brother Marlon also became members of the group after. They began to play the tambourine and congas, Michael got to perform later and at the age of eight he was a lead singer with his brother Jermaine, the group changed their name to Jackson 5.

The band did a lot of touring in America for two years, they performed on clubs and different kind of shows. Year 1966 they won a big talent show under the lead of Michael Jackson. Two years later they signed a contract with Motown Records. Everybody was calling Michael a wonder child because he was so talented at such a young age, he had a light voice but he danced as a grown up.

The Jackson 5 hit a record with their four first singles (I want you back, ABC, The love you save and I´ll be there). During the early years of the band the Motown group said that Michael was nine years old two years younger than he really was, because that sounded much sweeter and more approachable for the big crowd.

Later the band changed their contract from Motown Records to Epic ...

The Jackson 5 goes The Jacksons

When The Jackson 5 moved from Motown to Epic their new ”leader” came to be Michael Jackson.

Micheal wrote their songs and they started to touring internationally. They changed because they didn´t like the Motown records.

Michael did also later play a starred in a musical movie named ”The Wiz”. During this time he met Jones who promised to produce his next soloalbum, ”Off the wall”. After Michael had contributed with a song named ”Someone in the dark” for the movie E.T they gave him a grammy for best album for children.

The grammy helped him to do his next solo album ”Triller”. Both of this two soloalbumes were successful but ”Thriller” was the top moment in his career. It came to be the best selling album in the world and gave Jackson a large surplus in money and a huge group of fans.

His success didn´t only affect this, it also changed many things in the music industry, things like for an example he was a salvation for the music industry on a very positive way. He had brought us many things in his career with regard to music, mainly music of course but he also had brought things like ”The moonwalk”. 

Operations

In 1979 Jackson broke his nose when he was doing a complicated/hard dance step. He did two operations in the beginning. The first wasn´t completely sucessful, he felt that he had hard breathing and that made him to do one operation more because he was afraid of that his breathing was going to affect his career.

In 1984 he had an horrible accident when he was recording a reklame for pepsi and then he had to do a ”operation” but more like a treatment. The facts that we´ve found doesn´t say how the accident did happen but it says that his hair were on fire and that he got burns and because of this burns he payed a threatment for his burns to a hospital. This money gave the hospital the oppotunities for coming patiens with burns and they namned the ”treatment” after Michael.

”He did do many more operations, he changed skin color because of that, his operations... That´s how we did understand it, he didn´t do a ”color operation”, there isn´t anything called ”color operations”, at least not yet...”

Accused of sexual abuse

In 1993, Michael Jackson was accused of sexual abuse by a 13 years old boy named Jordan Chandler. Jordan and Michael had became friends earlier but Jordans parents reported Jackson to the police for sexual abuse. According to some sources, Michael offered the family 20 millions in money if they withdrew the charges they had against Michael.

In 2003, the same thing did happen again. Michael was now accused for a sexual abuse again, this time by a young boy named Gavin Arvizo. The accuser was the same person as in 1993.

His defence lawyer were Thomas Mesereau and after 5 months long procedure Michael was released from the allegations.

”We really don´t think that Michael had anything to do with the sexual abuses... We don´t think that he ever would do anything like that! People is making up things and the news papers are doing some things bigger than they really are! It´s silly...”

His family

In year 1997 Michael Jackson married his long time good friend Deborah Jeanne Rowe, and they got their first child Michael Joseph Jackson Jr (also known as Prince) February 13, 1997 . Their daughter Paris Michael Katherine Jackson was born a year later on april 3, 1998. Deborah and Michael didn´t want to get married at first but Michaels mother persuaded them to do so. They got divorced in 1999 and Michael got full custody of the children.

He also had a child named Prince Michael II “Blanket” who was born in 2002 and he came from a surrogate mother.

Michael dead...

In 2009 Michael was planning to do a comeback with 50 concerts during the years 2009-2010, but his plans came to naught... In june 25, 2009 Michael was taken immediatly to a hospital. He had stopped breathing and the doctors on UCLA Medical Center did do everything to make him breath again but sadly it didn´t give any positive effects.

14.46 o´clock that day Michael Jackson was ponaunced dead. He had been hit out of heart condition. Nobody knows for 100 percent what it was that had caused his heart condition but there is some theories.

After Michaels dead

After his dead many of his singles and songs came up on the top lists again all round the world. There is even some theories that says that Michael isn´t dead, that they´ve seen him on different places.

”We do personally don´t think that Michael Jackson is dead. We think he want to live a ”normal” life or just take a pause of his song career. Maybe there was something happening in his life that he wanted to avoid...”
